Bonnie Kyle joined the New Life Providence staff in 2003 as director of communications. She previously served New Life Christian Fellowship for six years in a variety of positions that supported all of the New Life congregations; her last NLCF ministry “hat” was director of equipping and communications.
Hailing from northern New England, Bonnie lived for fourteen years in south Orange County, California before moving to this area in the fall of 1992. She became a member of New Life Christian Fellowship in January 1993. While in California, Bonnie received her Master’s degree from Talbot School of Theology with a dual emphasis in curriculum writing and college teaching. She had the opportunity to teach at Talbot and write curriculum for Gospel Light Publications during her years there.
Before coming to the Providence staff, Bonnie accumulated over twenty-five years experience in ministry and church staff positions in New Hampshire, Vermont, California, and Virginia. She has served as children’s pastor, director of Christian education, and in a variety of administrative and educational consulting roles.
Her responsibilities at Providence include oversight of all publications and other means of communicating with both the church and community. She creates a wide variety of in-house projects and works in tandem with a gifted graphic designer for out-sourced production of The Slate and other high-end publications.
Bonnie has a passion for teaching and writing in areas that help individuals grow in their Christian walk. She has served as a PrimeTime instructor and is currently co-leader of a Providence life group.
In addition to her position at the church, Bonnie is a certified professional coach and coach trainer for Lifeforming Leadership Coaching. She is also a freelance editor and writer.
