Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Katie has been a part of the New Life Providence family since 2004 and has served as part-time office assistant since 2005. As one of the "voices of Providence," her main responsibility is to answer and direct calls, assist the office manager with church-related projects, and help with a number of other administrative tasks.

Katie is currently an undergraduate student at Regent University where she is studying Professional Communication. Her love for people and passion for writing are the two factors that make this major a perfect fit. She will be graduating with her Bachelor's degree in December 2009 in hopes of taking what she's learned into ministry. 

In addition, Katie has a growing passion for the young people of this generation. In the summer of 2007, she began volunteering with Providence's youth group under the guidance of Liam Coventry. This desire to see young lives changed has broadened her vision for her future, and she is now excited to work with youth in some capacity once she graduates from college.
