Annette was led through divine inspiration to volunteer at the office of New Life Providence Church. Shortly thereafter, she transitioned to a part-time position, then became a full time staff member in September of 2007. Annette is very excited about how God led her to be a part of he New Life family.  Enjoying the various opportunities to serve, with everyone she comes in contact with. Born in the Caribbean, on the island of Trinidad, she grew up in New York City and relocated to the Hampton Roads area in 1998.

Annette is the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Wayne Buechler, Pastor of Church Development. She’s responsible for all facilities / equipment reservations; coordinating of Discovery Seminars/new members’ classes, and various facets of church development at New Life Providence. Annette comes from a corporate background with many years experience in various management positions, and believes that God has orchestrated her life and career for “such a time as this” as the church grows with our pastors' vision.

Annette and her husband lived in the Middle East for a number of years and traveled to many countries in Asia and Africa.
Married to Clement since 1979, they have two wonderful children, Cleanne and Arren. Annette is an avid gardener, spending hours in her yard. This hobby is one that gives her great delight, and she finds that time tending to her flowers spiritually refreshing.
