Wayne Buechler joined the New Life
Providence Church staff in January 2003. He has been in full-time
ministry for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience
to his position as Pastor of Church Development.
Wayne's responsibilities include integrating new members through the Discovery program as well as developing the visitation and volunteer ministries. In cooperation with maintenance personnel, he oversees the needs of the church facilities. He also is currently developing a network of churches that share the vision of New Life Providence.
Wayne did undergraduate work at the
University of South Dakota and Oral Roberts University. He
was ordained in 1975 and pastored for 25 years in South
Dakota. Wayne traveled often to other towns in the midwest
and conducted Bible studies. Thanks in part to his efforts,
three churches were started in three separate communities.
Wayne has traveled
to the nations of India, the Philippines, Germany, Mexico,
Ghana, Japan, and Canada to preach the Gospel. Recently, he
formed the Buechler Family Ministries Foundation to further
the Gospel, help the needy, support missionaries, and strengthen
the family.
Married to his wife Anita since 1979,
Wayne has five children: Adam, Matthias, Christopher, Rachel,
and Rebecca, who are the joy and inspiration of his life.
Wayne recently received his Master's Degree in Leadership Studies at Regent University. He is also certified as a coach trainer in Transformational Leadership Coaching.
His passion is that the church would be a house of prayer,
walking in compassion, living by faith, and touching the nations
with the power of the Gospel —bringing healing to families,
seeing people filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and
enabling believers to demonstrate the character of God.
